Drew found CrossFit in 2007 as a member of the University of Nevada rugby team. A year later he received his Level 1 Certification, and has been coaching ever since. He's coached on both coasts, working with a broad range of clientele, and has a special affinity for training athletes.
As a 3-time CrossFit Regionals athlete, and a current member of the San Francisco Fire in the NPGL, Drew has amassed an extensive competitive resume, and the knowledge he's gained from training and competing alongside some of the best athletes in the world has given him valuable insight into the science (and art) of coaching aspiring athletes to achieve competitive success.
In addition to his role on the Brute Strength coaching staff, Drew is also a coach at Black Iron Gym in Reno, NV, and a regular contributor to the Brute Strength podcast. His certifications include CF-L2, CF-Mobility, and USAW.
Drew is an avid reader, a skilled composer of playlists on Spotify, and completely ambivalent about nuts in his cookies. I mean, if they're already in there then yeah, I'll eat them. Just don't put them in there in the first place.
